I currently rent the place that I live in and I figured that an inflatable soft hot tub that can plug into a standard electrical outlet would be best so that I would not have to have an electrician out. As far as the cost monthly I will have to update that once I have had a chance to own and run it for a while.Packaging: It arrived a day before expected in a cardboard box weight about 51 lbs. Unpacking it was very easy as it was just in the cardboard box without any other packaging Like a shelf box from the manufacturer ). I removed it from the box, which includes the hot tub itself (motor is part of the hot tub wall no external motor), two filters, a hot tub inflation tube, a patch kit, hot tub cover, hot tub cover lock and manual. Setup: I plugged it in and according to the instructions attached the inflation tube from the motor to the side of the... I bought this one looking for a hot tub that did not obligate a 220v hookup or major carpentry work for installation. I have to admit, the box looked deceivingly small when it arrived. It was very easy to remove from the box, spread out the floor and inflate. You hook the enclosed hose from one opening to another, plug it in and press a button and it self-inflates! It is sturdy, very presentable and is easy to operate. I filled it with cold water in early December and it was up to 103 degrees in three days. There are no seats but you sit on a padded floor. The bubbler system is quite substantial. I leave the cover zipped on and just fold it back when I use it. I love it! I am very glad I got it and enjoy it everyday. I consider it quite a bargain as it is substantial and quite durable. I have mine set up indoors in a spare basement-level room. I highly recommend this hot tub! 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Swim Time NP5868 Tsunami Inflatable Spa (Lawn & Patio) I purchased the tsunami portable hot tub for a Christmas gift for family. We were anxious to set it up and use it X-mas eve; it had a leak at the seam and was not usable. We send it back and received a replacement. Replacement had leak in same spot; obviously a manufacturing defect. Had to return this one. Not willing to try again. Would not recommend. Amazon.com handled returned very efficiently and professionally. Still looking for a reputable portable hot tub. |
